This structure is not a world in orbit.
It is a frozen mass adrift in deep space — a colossal cryo-formed titan of ice and mineral fusion, large enough to sustain its own ecosystem.
On this frozen megastructure, Cryorex Prime reigns supreme.

There is a classified incident that remains one of the most chilling records in the Sealed Archives. A team of interstellar scientists once approached the drifting ice colossus known as Cosmic Glacier, determined to study the only undocumented apex entity in the Cryoverse. Every other creature across the galaxies had been cataloged — except Cryorex Prime. Hovering carefully above the frozen megastructure, they scanned the terrain before making a risky descent. Against protocol, the team landed on the glacier’s surface and entered a deep snow cavern to obtain a biological specimen.

Inside the cavern, they encountered something far beyond expectation. Resting within the frozen chamber was a colossal being — approximately 24–25 meters in shoulder height and 13–14 meters in body length — its massive form embedded with radiant crystalline spikes. The crystals refracted the dim cave light like a living prism, casting spectral shards of color across the icy walls. The air was silent. Even the faintest footstep echoed dangerously. That single sound was enough.

One eye opened.
The enormous gaze locked onto the tiny figures before it.
Panic erupted. The scientists fled the cavern, scrambling back toward their spacecraft. Engines roared to life as they lifted off from the glacier’s surface. Believing they had succeeded, they laughed — convinced they had secured fragmented crystalline samples sufficient to extract DNA. They thought they had outmaneuvered the apex predator.

They were wrong.
Before their celebration could settle, a violent impact tore through the hull. Looking out into the void, they witnessed the impossible — Cryorex Prime, standing atop the glacier, projecting its crystalline spikes outward with devastating precision. The launched crystalline projectiles struck the spacecraft mid-ascent, splitting it cleanly into two halves. The vessel ruptured above the frozen colossus, and its crew was cast into open space, drifting silently over Cosmic Glacier.

The incident was never officially concluded.
The archive entry simply states:
Specimen retrieval attempt: Failed.
Threat classification: Absolute Apex.
