This Movie can be Directed by Marc Webb, this story takes place after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. It follows Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man as he invites the other two Spider-Men, Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland, into his universe for some lighthearted fun. With a little help from Doctor Strange, all three step through a portal into Andrew’s world.
Their first stop is an emotional visit to Aunt May. Andrew explains everything to her, and the moment is heartfelt and grounding. As night falls, Andrew is ready for another adventure. When Tobey and Tom try to suit up alongside him, Andrew playfully stops them. He reminds them that “there can only be one Spider-Man in one realm.” He jokes that they’re free to use all their powers, but the suit stays off-limits. This is delivered with Andrew’s usual wit and charm.
The film is filled with humorous and warm moments, especially when the trio goes to meet MJ, who is still pursuing higher education. Andrew introduces the other two Peter Parkers to her, and she is both surprised and amused since she already knows who the “real” Spider-Man is in this world.
Andrew, being the creative genius he is, designs two unique face masks for Tobey and Tom; each one has its own spider emblem.
Later, during a fight scene, Andrew delivers one of the funniest lines in the movie:
“I’m not alone anymore. I’ve hired two new apprentices. If you want to get to me, you’ll have to go through them first.”
This becomes an instant favorite moment.
As the news spreads across the city, The Daily Bugle headlines shout:
“SPIDER-MAN HIRES APPRENTICES?”
As if New York City hadn’t suffered enough from the masked threat himself. First, the Giant Lizard rampaged through the bridge, then Electro plunged the city into darkness, and Rhino smashed his way out of prison.
