Part I: The Dawn of a New Age

Six billion years after 2012 A.D., the long-predicted cosmic dance finally reached its end. After two billion years on a collision course, the Andromeda and Milky Way galaxies merged into a single colossal galaxy. The catastrophic event destroyed billions of planets, stars, and moons in waves of cosmic chaos.
During this turbulent era, hostile creatures from distant galaxies attempted to invade Earth, sparking a massive war against humanity. Despite the devastation, humanity ultimately emerged victorious.
In the aftermath, Earth entered a golden age of scientific advancement. Traveling between countries was once considered a major journey, but humanity now possessed transportation systems capable of crossing nearly every known galaxy within thirty days. A trip to Jupiter took only one hour.

This breakthrough became possible through an advanced fuel source called “Aquadium.” By combining a few milligrams of Iridium with a single drop of water, scientists could generate 400 gallons of extremely efficient fuel.
Medical science advanced just as rapidly. A single pill, created from rare plants and herbs, could instantly cure thousands of illnesses, including cancer, severe brain disorders, comas, and countless diseases that had plagued humanity for centuries.

Even global communication evolved. Information devices were installed every 100 meters across roads and cities worldwide. Data from these stations was transferred into small eco-friendly capsules made from organic compounds. Once released into the sky, the capsules dispersed particles through the atmosphere, projecting news directly across the heavens like massive glowing billboards. Every day, the skies illuminated with updates, ensuring humanity remained informed about events across Earth and beyond.

Part II: The Shadow from the Deep

Despite humanity’s utopian civilization, extraterrestrial threats remained a constant danger. Governments ordered scientists to continuously monitor deep space for potential invasions or cosmic anomalies.
During one routine observation, scientists detected a gigantic object approaching Earth at an incomprehensible and unstable speed. Fearing planetary destruction, they launched an advanced weapon normally reserved for intergalactic warfare.

The weapon struck the object directly, yet it continued moving toward Earth without slowing down.
As panic spread through the research centers, scientists examined the object more closely through high-powered telescopes. To their horror, they discovered it was not a meteor. It was alive.
At exactly 12:00 PM, the world descended into complete darkness. Humanity witnessed the greatest ecological catastrophe in recorded history: an enormous space-faring squid draining the life energy directly from the Sun. Once stripped of its energy, the Sun became a hollow black mass before violently exploding.
The creature then focused its attention on Earth. Positioned 148.8 million kilometers away. Its presence alone threatened all life on the planet.

When the creature opened its massive maw, rows of monstrous teeth became visible, each tooth towering over 12 feet in height, resembling gigantic prehistoric spears fused together into massive jagged structures. Its breath generated violent atmospheric storms powerful enough to tear rooftops from buildings and pull terrified civilians into the sky.
Moments later, the creature unleashed spear-like spikes from its mouth. The projectiles pierced the atmosphere and struck every living organism in their path. Upon impact, a horrific chemical reaction caused bodies to melt instantly. Skin, flesh, and bone dissolved into crimson liquid within seconds. Soon, the surface of Earth transformed into a vast red ocean of biological remains.
The creature opened its mouth once more, creating an immense gravitational pull that lifted the crimson flood into the sky like an inverted sea.
Amid the destruction, a small number of survivors escaped into deep caves and isolated mountain ranges. The scientists also survived, protected within heavily fortified underground research facilities.

Part III: An Ancient Origin and a Cosmic Twist

Working quickly, the surviving scientists retrieved several fallen spikes for DNA analysis. The results shocked them beyond belief.
The data revealed that the creature shared genetic origins with Earth’s earliest prehistoric squid species. These ancient organisms lived nearly 128 million years before 2012 A.D. during the Cretaceous period. Covered in protective spikes, they were considered direct ancestors of modern squid.
Although the species had long gone extinct, ancient human scientists had once discovered their fossils deep within Earth’s rock layers. Using advanced genetic engineering, they successfully cloned and recreated the species.
The scientists theorized that during the galactic collision billions of years earlier, several resurrected squids escaped into space and eventually landed on alien worlds. Against all odds, some survived.
One mystery remained unresolved: how could a biological organism survive for 6.5 billion years?
The scientists concluded that the creature had adapted to the harsh conditions of an alien planet. Consuming irradiated extraterrestrial nutrients caused it to mutate from a normal marine organism into a cosmic behemoth. Eventually, it grew powerful enough to destroy its adopted world. From that point onward, it wandered across the universe, feeding exclusively on the life energy of planets and evolving into a near-immortal entity.
Now, the Cretaceous Creature was consuming the biological remains of humanity while draining Earth’s core energy, leaving the planet with only days before total extinction.
Suddenly, scientific instruments detected another anomaly approaching through deep space. It resembled a massive cosmic tornado made of swirling dust and darkness. After analyzing the readings, the scientists reached a terrifying conclusion: it was a massive black hole.
As the black hole entered Earth’s atmosphere, its immense gravitational force locked onto the gigantic creature, pulling the screaming behemoth into the singularity and hurling it billions of light-years into the unknown depths of space.
At the same time, Earth itself became trapped within the event horizon. The planet was dragged into the black hole and violently expelled into an entirely different galaxy.

This new galaxy was breathtaking, filled with countless suns, moons, planets, and asteroid systems. Earth stabilized safely within orbit, surrounded by more than ten suns and moons positioned 1.8 billion kilometers away. Their combined light perfectly balanced Earth’s climate without scorching the planet’s surface.
The greatest discovery came moments later. Temporal sensors revealed that the black hole had functioned like a cosmic time machine. Earth had been thrown backward into the 26th century while still retaining all technological advancements developed over the previous 6.5 billion years.
Against all odds, humanity’s near extinction had become its ultimate salvation.

The Birth of the Cryoverse

During the violent galactic collision, fossilized remains of prehistoric Earth species were scattered throughout the cosmos. Some eventually drifted into a completely isolated frozen frontier galaxy.
Within this sub-zero realm, Earth’s ancient organisms underwent radical evolutionary transformations, adapting to the brutal frozen environment and emerging as dominant lifeforms of an entirely new reality.
Thus, the Cryoverse was born.
