Black Panther – The Nightmare of Galactus

This concept came to me in a dream. Every night, Galactus wakes from the same nightmare. He experiences it almost like a first-person vision. He sees the dark void of space stretching endlessly before him, with distant constellations surrounding the darkness. Then, somewhere between the stars, a strange blue inferno appears. It looks like an enormous eye, but there is no visible retina. The blue inferno begins moving toward him, getting closer and closer. Galactus cannot understand what he is seeing or where this mysterious presence has come from. Just before the blue inferno reaches him, he suddenly wakes up. The nightmare ends, but it returns every night.

Galactus is the destroyer of worlds. He has consumed countless planets to satisfy his hunger, and civilizations across the universe fear his arrival. Aliens, sentient beings, and even Celestials cannot perceive or handle his true form. Yet this mysterious nightmare begins to affect him. For centuries, Galactus has never known fear, but now he finds himself wondering where this blue inferno eye could have come from. Which world created it? Which universe does it belong to? Despite the nightmare, Galactus continues his existence as usual, moving from world to world and preparing to consume them.

Then, one day, something changes. As Galactus prepares to destroy another world, he sees something approaching him at incredible speed. It is the same blue eye from his nightmare. Galactus stops everything and watches. The surrounding constellations begin forming the shape of a gigantic creature as it moves closer through space. The figure does not come completely close, but Galactus can clearly see its form. It is Black Panther. As Black Panther approaches, an invisible protective force suddenly strikes Galactus. He falls to the ground, and everything disappears. The next moment, Galactus wakes up as if he has been pulled into a memory.

He is now in human form and human size. People are running through the streets while destruction surrounds them. Buildings have been destroyed, and the devastation looks strangely familiar. Galactus realizes that he is witnessing the aftermath of an event from years earlier, when his gigantic form had appeared on Earth and destroyed a massive part of Wakanda. The destruction had taken lives and devastated the land, including the sacred ancestral temple that held generations of Wakandan history. The memory reveals the consequences of what Galactus had done.

After witnessing this destruction, T’Challa dedicates himself to finding a way to stop Galactus if he ever returns. Using Wakandan technology and the immense power of vibranium, he develops a seismic device that functions almost like a bomb. Its energy is powerful enough to destroy a planet or shatter a star into fragments and send them across space. T’Challa understands that defeating Galactus through conventional means would be impossible, so the device is designed to attack something much deeper.

The memory suddenly ends, and Galactus rises again in his true gigantic humanoid form. A black-suited figure stands before him. It is Black Panther. Behind Black Panther, a flying Wakandan craft projects an image into space. The projection reveals Galactus’s true form as a gigantic star-like entity. Galactus is shocked. For centuries, the universe has been unable to see his true form, yet Black Panther can see him exactly as he exists beneath his cosmic appearance.

Black Panther explains that the vibranium energy flowing through his body allows him to perceive nature in its true form. Through this connection, he can see what exists beneath the appearance presented by cosmic beings. To Black Panther, Galactus cannot hide behind the form that the rest of the universe perceives. Galactus realizes that vibranium has given Black Panther a way to see something that even the most powerful beings in the universe cannot see.

Black Panther then raises his left hand and presses a button. Galactus’s armor begins to break apart, shattering piece by piece. Galactus suddenly realizes what has happened. During the strange memory-like experience, Black Panther had secretly planted the vibranium device inside his body. The nightmare, the memory, and the encounter had all been part of a carefully planned attack.

Before Galactus can react, Black Panther flies behind him. The device activates, releasing an enormous seismic force through Galactus’s true form. The star-like entity begins to fracture. The force tears through him until his form finally shatters into countless pieces, spreading across space like cosmic dust after a massive stellar explosion.

For the first time in his existence, Galactus encounters something he cannot simply consume or overpower. The nightmare he experienced every night was never a warning of something coming toward him. It was a vision of the fate that was already waiting for him.
